Jonny Trego is an Emmy Award-winning Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and Photographer with 9 years of experience in the industry. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Jonny is open to traveling for projects and has been flown to multiple countries to work as a cinematographer, showcasing his expertise on a global scale.

Specializing in FPV drones, high-speed and precision flying, and aerial cinematography, Jonny combines technical mastery with creative vision to deliver extraordinary results. He is well-versed in a variety of camera systems, with personal expertise using the Sony FX3, and holds FAA Part 107 certification.

Jonny’s portfolio includes collaborations with high-profile clients such as C4 Energy, DJI, WAVE News, RedTag Digital, and Buzz Advertising. He has served as the Director of Photography for notable documentaries, including Blow: The True Story of Cocaine, a Bear, and a Crooked Kentucky Cop—for which he earned an Emmy—and 23 Seconds. His work has been viewed over 150 million times across the internet and television.
